In a move that will have far reaching ramifications for senior healthcare, the Senate rejected the so called “doc fix” that would have staved off a 21% cut in Medicare reimbursements scheduled to take place on June 1. The American Medical Association blasted the decision, saying that it will cause up to 30% of primary care doctors to drop Medicare patients from their practices.

Looks like an agreement was reached
Dear congressmen,
Thank you for finally allowing me to see that the Medicare system is once and for all truly broken. Your indifference and dithering have finally given me the confidence and peace of mind to simply say “no”. I will drop Medicare/Medicaid/Tricare and enjoy the 50% added vacation time at the 50% pay cut. This country needs to extract itself from government largess and realize that saying “no” to government is the only way we will regain our independence from the burgeoning government class.
