Dr. Judith Jacobi, PharmD sent an email to SCCM members on January 21, 2010 updating the developments in Haiti. The Pan American Health Organization has informed the SCCM that they are seeking volunteers to be included in a database of healthcare professionals who wish to be volunteer their service in Haiti. They should send an email with CV attached to [email protected]
Dr. Jacobi also reports that SCCM members on the ground including Dr. Alejandro Baez in the Dominican Republic are requesting assistance, including materiel management and bedside practitioners.
We have an airplane ready to go to Haiti with four Doctors and med supply’s.
