Hypereosinophilia with high serum levels of IgE (> 2000 IU/ml) and low Staphylococcus aureus IgA; defective T-cell suppressor activity and chemotaxis with recurrent skin abscesses and pneumonias, coarse facial features, and bone abnormalities. Condition is possibly mediated by histamine.
