Rare thrombotic disease that manifests as 2Ð5-mm pinkish cutaneous lesions eventually becoming umbilicated and developing depressed, whitish centers that represent infarcts. Condition may also occur in small intestine with multiple bowel perforations, with variable infarcts in nervous tissue. Treatment is aspirin and dipyridamole, which has limited success.
