Distal gastrectomy with gastrojejunal reconstruction; less physiologic than Billroth I procedure. If patients complain of constant, burning epigastric pain unrelieved by vomiting postop, alkaline reflux gastritis or stomal obstruction with marginal ulceration should be suspected.
