Hematoceles are not uncommonly occurring conditions where there is an abnormal blood collection in the tunical vaginalis of the testes.
Causes of hematocele include blunt trauma to the scrotum, rupture of the testicular artery, and incomplete hemostasis after inguinal hernia repair or other groin surgeries (orchiectomy, vasectomy, varicocele repair.)
