Cheek advancement flap for lower lip reconstruction. A slightly curved, full-thickness incision of one-half length of defect is made laterally on one side of the defect, and a 2nd, smaller, parallel incision is made. A rectangular tissue flap is then advanced using a sliding technique and adjacent inner lip mucosa is rotated to form a new lip surface.
