Recurrent inflammation of cartilage causing eventual degenerative disease; results in ÒfloppyÓ ears, trachea, and larynx, as well as saddlenose deformity. Condition may also involve aortic heart valve and eyes. Treatment is steroids or, in severe cases, other immunosuppression.
