Medical License Restored by Judge for Oakland Neurosurgeon
California state administrative law judge Ruth Astle has restored the medical license of Dr. Federico Castro-Moure after finding that he does not pose a danger to his patients or other staff in the practice of medicine. Castro-Moure had been suspended by Highland Hospital and reported to state medical authorities last month after a nurse in the operating room called sheriff’s deputies because of a suspicion of intoxication and supposedly loud and angry behavior on the part of the physician.
Man Held for Trying to Bomb Surgeon Who Did Penile Surgery
In a sign that things are really getting tough for surgeons out there, a 25 year old man has been charged for sending a bomb through the mail in an attempt to kill the surgeon in Chicago who performed his penile surgery. The man charged, Brett Steidler, of Reamstown, Pennsylvania was apparently unhappy with the result.
