Telithromycin (Ketek) – Part 1<\/b><\/p>\n

Telithromycin is semisynthetic antibacterial substance in the ketolide class of drugs. It is similar to the macrolide group of antibiotics (e.g. azithromycin, clarithomycin) but differs in several of the side chains.<\/p>\n

It is available only in pill form, which are packaged in a light orange, oval, film-covered tablet.<\/p>\n
