Facial hemiatrophy with onset in 1st or 2nd decade; usu. manifests as alopecia and blanching unilaterally on scalp and face, with atrophy of subcutaneous tissue. Condition is associated with epilepsy, migraine, and brain calcification referable to involved side. Symptoms extend bilaterally in 5% of cases and occasionally involve limbs, trunk, and intraabdominal organs.
