Test for intact biceps tendon in which arm is pronated and then elbow is flexed under resistance. If tendon is intact, slight degree of supination occurs as biceps is recruited to aid brachialis muscle in flexion (positive finding). If tendon is ruptured, no partial supination occurs (negative finding).
