Large bullae on skin and mucosa, alopecia, and mental retardation. Bullae rupture spontaneously, leaving scars, miliary cysts, webbing between fingers and toes, and strictures of tongue. Condition is autosomal recessive. Prognosis is poor, with carcinoma developing in scars.
