Aggressive malignant small cell tumor of bone forming histologic pseudorosettes; usu. occurs in males before 25 years of age. Condition can occur in any bone, but long bones (esp. around knee) are most commonly affected; causes pain and swelling and often complaints of mild trauma preceding presentation. ÒOnion-skinningÓ is apparent on radiography.
