Systemic cryptococcosis via respiratory infection due to cryptococcus neoformans serotypes A, B, C and D; seen most commonly in HIV. Condition causes meningitis, organomegaly, and skin nodules. Prophylaxis is fluconazole. Treatment is amphotericin.
