Suturing technique used to Òturn the cornerÓ to complete deep, anterior layer when hand-sewing bowel anastomosis; allows inversion of structures as suture is tightened. Suture is placed outside-to-inside, then inside-to-outside on 1 side of bowel, is crossed to other side of anastomosis using an outside-to-outside suture, and is then repeated.
