Technique using anterior iliopubic tract repair for correction of inguinal hernias. For indirect hernias, transversus abdominis arch is sutured to iliopubic tract from internal inguinal ring to pubic tubercle; sutures can be placed lateral to cord to reconstruct internal ring if needed. For direct hernias, sutures are placed between transversus abdominis superiorly to Cooper ligament and pubic tubercle below.
