Idiopathic orthostatic hypotension with low level of epinephrine that is not responsive to exercise or position change; also marked by anhidrosis, nocturnal polyuria, impotence, dizziness, syncope, bradycardia, and sphincter deterioration. Condition occurs in early morning hours during warmer months in older men; may be progressive. Treatment is volume expansion.
