Type 4 glycogen storage disease with accumulation of abnormal glycogen, resulting in cirrhosis; caused by deficiency of branching enzyme 1, 4-glucan and 1, 5-glucan-6-glucosyl transferase in liver and muscle (primarily). Condition manifests in infancy as failure to thrive.
