Dr. Nancy Snyderman in voluntary Ebola quarantine is the report coming out of NBC News headquarters tonight.
Officials at the network have announced that she will be flown back to the States in a private charter after her cameraman Ashoka Mukpo contracted Ebola. She will then place herself in a 21 day quarantine to monitor for signs of the disease
Her bosses are saying that she is symptom-free and these steps are being taken in an abundance of caution.
Ebola virus disease can result in heart and liver failure and severe bleeding from the gums, eyes, skin, and rectum.
