Actually he wasn’t arrested for the expired tags directly. He was arrested because he had a warrent for a failure to appear in court/failure to pay for a previously issued ticket. When he was pulled over for the expired tags they ran his license and found the warrent. So he has to be arrested. This would happen to anyone who does this.
