Researchers have announced results of a trail that showed that the use of a vaginal gel containing the anti-AIDS medication tenofovir has cut transmission by thirty-nine percent. Mitchell Warren of the New York-based AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition has termed the findings “thrilling.”
