Louisiana shrimper John Wunstell, Jr. was hired by BP to help with the oil spill clean-up. Instead, he ended up in the hospital with nausea, vomiting, and headaches after he claimed he was told he was not allowed to wear a mask. In addition, all of his clothing was confiscated. He has filed a restraining order to stop BP from seizing and destroying worker’s clothes and prohibiting the use of masks.
BP CEO has suggested that an alternative cause of Wunstell’s illness was food poisoning.
