Disabled Orthopedic Surgeon Honored By Rotary Club
Dr. Bertram Spetzler was recently given the Roy W. Hendrickson Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award by the Salem, Virginia Rotary Club. Spetzler, who was active in Habitat for Humanity and other organizations in southwest Virginia, has limited use of his arms and legs after a bicycling accident suffered in 2008.
