Wisconsin Surgeon Accused Of Vehicular Homicide Returned To Jail For Buying Prescription Drugs
Dr. Mark Benson was returned to the Waukesha County Jail after violating terms of his pre-trial release by buying prescription drugs over the internet. He is charged with vehicular homicide in the April, 2008 deaths of high school principal Jennifer Bukosky and her ten-year old daughter for slamming his SUV into the car that Bukosky was driving. Two other children of Bukosky were injured in the accident but survived.
Benson had been convicted of driving while impaired for the third time and had his driver’s license revoked two days before the accident involving Bukosky and her family.
