Subfascial interruption or ligation of perforator veins to palliate venous ulceration. Traditionally performed in open approach but some reports describe good results usually minimally invasive techniques. The open approach uses a posterior incision where the fascia is split in the midline with flaps rotated medially to expose the perforators.
