Modification of primary Jones test for lacrimal drainage. Patient sits upright with 2% flourescein placed in conjunctival sac. At 5 minutes and then at regular intervals, the oropharynx is examined with UV light. All normal patients will show dye at 60 minutes. Best used as a supplement to a negative primary Jones test.
