Sudden onset of dizziness, fainting, headache, slurred speech, convulsions and systemic vagal signs (e.g., bradycardia, hypotension), and peripheral dilation. Caused by pressure on carotid sinus (e.g., tight neck clothing, sudden head turning). Treatment during attacks is atropine (if vagal signs present) or amphetamines.
