Ebola healthcare workers killed in Guinea according to West African health officials. The group of eight officials were met by a mob throwing stones in a remote village where residents feared that the team came to the village in order to spread the viral hemorrhagic disease.
The official death toll is approaching 3000 with an unknown number of non-recorded fatalities. The disease is marked by organ failure of the cardiac, renal, and liver systems as well as uncontrolled hemorrhage.
