Skin Cancer Drug Reverses Alzheimer’s Disease in Mice


Gary Landreth, Paige Cramer, and other researchers at Case Western Reserve have published results in the journal Science that an already approved drug bexarotene used for treating a type of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma has dramatically reversed memory loss and amyloid buildup in the brains of mice.
